We have taken several aspects into consideration when designing this kit and feel it is the safest kit on the market. Safety should be the number one factor to consider when purchasing a roll cage and we're sure that when you research what's available you will see that the DGE Motorsports kit is the safest and best designed on the market.
When installed correctly this kit meets SCCA, NASA, ICSCC and other sanctioning body rules.
This kit uses a real dash bar and does not incorporate the factory dash bar as part of the cage.
NOTE: Good fabrication and welding skills are required to install this kit!! This kit comes with some tubes pre-notched but still requires notching and fitting of tubes.
Standard Features:
- Detailed installation manual with over 45 pictures and 3D illustrations.
- Hoop mounting plate is 8" x 12" for a total of 96 sq. in. well within the 100 sq. in. limit.
- Lightweight weld in kit made of 1.5" x .095 DOM tubing. Approximately 75 lbs once installed.
- Kit consists of everything shown along with 16 gussets with pictures for placement of gussets.
- All pieces are numbered and correspond to pictures and illustrations in the installation manual.
- Forward down tubes are located behind dash allowing removal of dash as a complete unit after cage is installed and for easy entry and exit of the car.
- Concealed dash bar. No knee breakers here. We don't incorporate the factory dash bar as part of the cage like we have seen competitors do.
- Nascar style door bars on both sides with slanted vertical bracing for added side impact protection.
- Upper nascar bar starts in the arm pit area in back for maximum driver protection and drops in front for easy in and out access.
- Rear down tubes land next to rear shock mounts.
- Roof diagonal for added rigidity and roll over protection.
